Adopted And
Available Mustangs
click to visit the MHF website for more info about their TIP program.
The Mustang Heritage Foundation created the Trainer Incentive Program, better known as TIP, to bridge the gap between potential adopters/purchasers and American Mustangs housed at Bureau of Land Management (BLM) off-range facilities. The MHF is looking for talented trainers who employ natural horsemanship techniques to gentle American Mustangs. The MHF is also looking to match qualified adopters/purchasers with approved TIP trainers (Chelsea Miller is an approved TIP trainer).

Mustangs are considered gentle when they are halter broke, will pick up all four feet, and will load and unload from a trailer. This is still a "green" horse and frequently, mustangs will need to get used to their adopter, after being with the trainer. Trust does not always transfer, and they will still require time, patience and continued training.
